About Story Longcase Clocks FJ & RD Story Longcase Clocks is a family run business owned by Richard Story and supplies clocks to private collectors and antique dealers in the United Kingdom, Europe, USA and many other parts of the world. The company was established twenty years ago by Frederick Story and Richard Story and subsequently has been a leading specialist in quality British antique longcase clocks, bracket clocks and antique barometers. This expertise is aided by a highly skilled and experienced team of antiquarian horologists and cabinet makers, working to the highest possible standards. All of our clock movements are restored by our horologist, who is a Fellow of the British Horological Institute (FBHI), having 35 years of full time professional engagement in the repair & restoration of clocks, watches, music boxes & barometers. He was the recipient of the 1977 Worshipful Company of Clockmakers Bronze Medal.All of our clocks and barometers have been sympathetically restored and have been expertly vetted for originality and good working order. All longcase clocks, bracket clocks, wall clocks and barometers purchased from us are guaranteed for two years. Delivery and installation of our longcase clocks is carried out free of charge within the U.K. For overseas customers a fully insured door to door service is provided by our regular couriers, please contact us for a specific quotation. All longcase clocks are securely packed and comprehensive installation and maintenance instructions are included. Visitors are welcome to view our stock at our showrooms in Yorkshire, at any time.
