Case

The good quality case veneered in beautifully figured flame mahogany, inlaid with boxwood stringing. The break arch hood with cast brass bezel. The boxwood strung inlaid long trunk door with choice curled mahogany veneers.

Dial

The circular white enameled dial signed to the centre Henry Redpath Stirling, subsidiary zones for seconds and calendar.

Movement

The fully restored movement of eight day duration united by four knopped pillars, anchor escapement and striking the hours on a single bell.

Weights and pendulum

Original cast iron oval Scottish weights and painted Scottish pendulum bob depicting a beehive.

Hands

Fine blued steel hands of elliptical design.
