subsidiaries for Arabic seconds with observatory marks and Roman hours.
The dust plate covered jewelled movement with substantial pillars and plates.
Maintaining power, high count pinions, deadbeat escapement.
Long crutch with beat adjustment and mercury jar pendulum.
Brass cylindrical weight with ornate pulley.

maker working Arlington Street circa 1863, and at 69 Linton Street
1872 -1877.
This clock is unique and of the very best quality.
The movement, dial, hands, pulley, weight etc are all totally
unrestored at present and will be finished to a
very high level.
The movement and case are of exceptional quality, the case is very
heavy, been constructed of solid rosewood.
The glazed glass front is bevel edged and very thick.
The lock,
key and hinges are of superb substantial quality.
The movement is jewelled throughout including the
pallets, adjustable screwed pinions which are also jewelled - see
back of movement image.
The gear work is six spoke and made extremely finely, high count
pinions
Mercury jar pendulum - mercury needs cleaning to give a bright
metallic colour.
The pendulum hangs off a substantial cast iron bracket and the
movement secures to this via three shaped bolts / nuts of
substantial proportions
The movement has six substantial pillars and thick plates.
When cleaned and serviced the movement dust plates and back plate
will all be lacquered to keep the bright finish and all other
visible metal work will also be lacquered ( weight, pendulum, pulley
etc)
All steel screws will be blued.
The dial and beat plate will be re-silvered and the hands blued.
