The well proportioned case with carved pediment to the hood and cast brass bezel. The circular silvered dial with engraved observatory regulator markings. Fine quality 8 day regulator movement with deadbeat escapement and maintaining power, striking the hours on a single bell. Blued steel hands. Heavy brass bob pendulum with scaled rating nut and two cylindrical brass weights.
