Case
A fine quality rosewood Biedermeier Viennese Regulator
wall clock, circa 1860. The beautifully proportioned case
surmounted with a carved pediment and matching carving to
the base.
Dial
The two piece enameled dial with Roman numerals and
signed to the dial centre with makers name, The inner and
outer dial surrounded by polished brass bezels.
Movement
The fully restored fine quality eight day duration
movement with deadbeat escapement and slide beat
adjustment.
Weight & Pendulum
Polished brass cased weight, with ornate spoked pulley,
polished brass bob pendulum (front and back) with ebonised
wooden rod.
Hands
Finely fretted blued steel hands, of beetle and poker
design.
A beautifully made late Biedermeier period clock, in fine
original condition. This type of Viennese regulator wall
clock were entirely hand made by a time served master
clockmaker and were only made for the most discerning
customers and took many months to complete individually.
All of our clocks have been sympathetically restored and
have been expertly vetted for originality and good working
order. All clocks purchased from us are guaranteed for
twelve months. All of our clock movements are restored by
our horologist who works exclusively for us.

Institute (FBHI), having 35 years of full time
professional engagement in the repair & restoration of
clocks, watches, music boxes & barometers. He was the
recipient of the 1977 Worshipful Company of Clockmakers
Bronze Medal.
